A chargeback model is utilized to meet yearly SMBC operational costs. Our current charge back fee structure includes assay validation services that are charged on an hourly basis and quantitative analytical services that are charged on a per sample basis. Our per sample charges are based on the need for sample processing and extraction prior to mass spectrometric analysis and the total number of samples to be analyzed for the investigator.
